Robbinsville Mayor Dave Fried Appointed to MCCC Board of Trustees
ROBBINSVILLE, NJ - (October 24, 2017) - Robbinsville Mayor Dave Fried has been appointed to the Mercer County Community College Board of Trustees by Governor Chris Christie.
Located in West Windsor, Mercer County Community College is a vibrant economic engine in the region for jobs with over 60 majors that foster jobs in Education, Health Care, Business and special careers such as Culinary, Aviation, Technology and Funeral Science.
MCCC has over 5,000 students and roughly 35,000 people utilize the campus each year for enrichment, programs, events, theater and more.
The Board of Trustees, along with the Office of the Mercer County Executive, governs the college. It reviews and develops new polices that guide that set the strategic direction of the Mercer County college. Current Board of Trustees include: Rev. William E. Coleman, Jr., Kevin Drennan - Vice Chair, Carol Golden - Chair, Yasmin E. Hernandez-Manno, Pam Hersh, Anthony Inverso, Dr. Walt MacDonald – Treasurer, Mark Matzen, Dr. Jianping Wang - Secretary and MCCC President and Dwaine Williamson.
Mr. Fried’s appointment was filed October 20, 2017 with the Secretary of State. He will serve at the pleasure of the Governor and is subject to the ethical standards set forth in the Conflicts of Interest Law, N.J.S.A. 52:13D-12 et seq.
