Proposed Start Date of New Traffic Project: Monday May 28, 2019

Nature of Work:
  Resurfacing of Westbound Route I-195, including but not limited to milling, paving, guide rail, curb reconstruction, parapet modifications, bridge deck repairs and bridge railing, along with drainage repairs. Repair includes work on both ramps servicing Robbinsville (Exits 7/8).

Project:  Route 195 Westbound from Route 295 to CR 524/539.

Timeline For Completion: Approximately one (1) year.

Municipality/County:  Hamilton and Robbinsville Townships / Mercer County & Upper Freehold Township / Monmouth County.

Traffic Impacts & Closures: The work will be performed both day and night with temporary shoulder closures during the day from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and at night from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. All work schedules are weather dependent and subject to change.
Traffic will be shifted within the contract limits for construction.  Detours will be implemented in accordance with the contract documents at different periods throughout the project.  South State, Inc. will utilize lane closures in accordance with allowable hours as depicted in the Traffic Control Plans.

Description of New Traffic Pattern: Temporary work zones will be within a double lane, single lane, and/or a shoulder closure and the location/length will vary depending on the specific location and situation for each day. When construction activities cause ramps to be closed a temporary overnight detour will be utilized.
