PENN Medicine Named Conditional Redeveloper of Town Center South
ROBBINSVILLE, NJ - (February 14, 2019) - Robbinsville Township Council Thursday approved Princeton HealthCare System, a New Jersey nonprofit corporation doing business as Penn Medicine Princeton Health, as the conditional redeveloper for the Town Center South Redevelopment Area for a period of 180 days.
The Township Redevelopment Committee has met with representatives of PENN Medicine and believes the proposed project would further the goals and objectives of the Town Center South Redevelopment Plan.
The Resolution is subject to further review of PENN Medicine's plans to construct and finance the project. Additionally, the Redevelopment Committee is authorized conduct further due diligence into the project and to engage in negotiations of a redevelopment agreement with PENN Medicine. Any redevelopment agreement is subject to review and approval by Council.
Robbinsville shall not solicit any other redevelopment proposals for the properties proposed for development for those 180 days, during which time it shall engage in exclusive negotiations with PENN Medicine for the properties identified as:
Block 1, Lots 12, 13, 14.01-14,04, 16.01, 17-24, 32 and 65 on the Tax Map of the Township of Robbinsville, and Block 1961, Lot 203, on the Tax Map of the Township of Hamilton.
