FULL-TIME & PART-TIME PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE
The Hightstown Borough Board of Health, which serves Robbinsville Township, is accepting applications for a FT Public Health Nurse position. Applicants for PT Public Health Nurse are also being considered.
The Public Health Nurse works under general supervision and uses knowledge from nursing, social and public health sciences to promote and protect the health of populations through the performance of core public health functions and the delivery of essential public health services.
Responsibilities include communicable disease investigations/reporting, community health education, immunization audits, well child clinics, preventative adult health clinics, public health emergency planning and response, representing the Health Department on local public health coalitions, and related work as required. This position works under the West Windsor Township Health Department and serves the communities of West Windsor, Robbinsville and Hightstown. Minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Public Health Nursing Science approved by the National League for Nursing, a current and valid registration as a Professional Nurse in the State of New Jersey, a minimum of two years of experience in the public health field and a valid NJ Driver’s License.

About Robbinsville Township Public Health
West Windsor Township provides health code enforcement services to Robbinsville Township through a shared services agreement.
Through this contract, West Windsor acts as the health agency for Robbinsville. The Division of Health, led by the Health Officer, is responsible for enforcing state and local laws, regulations related to public health, administering laws related to vital statistics, and administering public health programs in the Township. This includes public health nursing, community health education, communicable disease control and chronic disease control.
